George Ryan is a Toronto rapper, but from his new single, “Nah, Nah, Nah” it’s clear he’s more than just a one dimensional artist. The single sounds like a pop song, then it sounds like an R&B song then there’s the rap cadences that make it a rap song. The track is melodic too. It’s all over the place, but in the best way possible.
The song really tries to grab summer for everything that is left in it because the song is definitely a party anthem, summer track and with summer coming to a close, this is one of those songs that tries to keep the party alive. This is the type of song I can see people playing in clubs and I can see this song being on the radio. It takes a lot of what’s really good right now and combines it together, but in a new, unique way.
I think the uniqueness of the track comes from the fact that Ryan produced the track and bends his voice in different ways. He defiantly knows what he’s doing and on the song, he did it well. The different touches of different genres, the vocals and the club esque- production, “Nah, Nah, Nah” is a strong single from Ryan. The single is going to leave listeners wanting to hear it again and again, with Ryan’s singing Nah, Nah Nah, being stuck in their head.
