Toronto’s annual Manifesto Festival is entering its 11th year, and in promising another huge celebration of contemporary youth arts and culture, organizers have lifted the curtain on the musical lineup for this year’s main event.

Instead of having the main festival in the fall, Manifesto has moved from September to June. Manifesto will bring Majid Jordan, the Internet, Isaiah Rashad and Jidenna to Echo Beach on June 10. Locals Sean Leon, TiKA, the Sorority and Derin Falana are also set to perform.

The marquee festival event, running from June 8 to 11, will also feature a launch party at the Drake Hotel on June 8 and a special edition of Manifesto’s monthly party HIGH POWER.  Because of the date change from September to June,  Manifesto will also expand its programming for music, art, dance, conversation and connection as an all year thing. A press release revealed plans for a free Block Party event, art show and dance showcase later on in the year.
