Lil Yachty has had and continues to have one of the most outstanding years for any new artist this decade. I even had to write about this because it was just so apparent in my piece called, “5 Months In : How Lil Yachty Has Been Winning 2016.” In 2016, he released a tape “Lil Boat” that now has a million views in each song or mostly all of them, he’s had co-signs from Kanye, Chance The Rapper, Young Thug and is about to embark on a tour.

On top of all the success I discussed in that piece about Yachty, today Yachty has confirmed that he has now signed a deal with Apple Music and will be releasing his second edition of Summer Songs with, “Summer Songs 2.” And now the tape is finally out. The tape has 14 songs and there are 7 songs with features on it.
