I first discovered what Gears Of War was from the trailer for the first game way back in 2006. The song that was playing in that trailer was Gary Jules, “Mad World.” Every die hard Gears Of War fan knows how that trailer made them feel.

Now today, the official trailer for the next game in the series, Gears Of War 4 dropped and this trailer gave me that exact feeling. This time, the song that was playing in this trailer is  not “Mad World,” It’s Simon And Garfunkel’s, “Sound Of Silence.” It’s not that original song in the trailer, it’s a cover of the song, by Disturbed.

All I know is, this game is going to be incredible. After beating all the Gears Of War games, I’m excited to get back into this series. Gears Of War 4 will be coming out, later this year, on October 11.
