During the Edmonton Oilers vs Carolina Hurricanes game tonight, Referee Matt Macpherson lost his balance after a face-off at centre ice. Instead of just falling by himself, he decided to grab on to Nail Yakupov, as he was the closet player to him to stay centred, but failed. Yakupov then was brought down with the referee and because of this, got injured and had to leave the game.
