I was wondering how D.R.A.M. felt about all of this, I didn’t even know the song came out a year ago, the Beyonce clip was my first notice of it. Considering that Hotline Bling’s been redone like six times after Drake’s (even in Spanish), it’s safe to say that Drake’s take has got new life. They’re distinct enough in feeling to be understood as separate but man, that’s a tough break for D.R.A.M. I wonder if he ever gets booked for a show in a small town and the promoter’s all, ‘Oh, you’re not the Hotline Bling guy?’
