Thank you OVO Sound Radio. I highly doubt, I would have found this artist otherwise. Now, I’ve listened to the majority of the OVO Sound Radio episodes so far and the weird thing is that, I’ve heard that this singer has been played a few times so far, but I must have missed it. Episode 8 is the first time I’ve heard of DVSN. And who is DVSN? I have no clue. Is the name an acronym? It is just a name? Not much is known of this singer right now.

The only thing I do know, but I’m not 100% sure, but is still worth mentioning is that, I think Toronto producer Nineteen85 has produced the only two songs that DVSN currently has to date. Now if that is the case, then this artist might be from Toronto too. If that is indeed the case, then Toronto really is, right now, living in the golden age of music being produced and made from the city by Toronto artists.

I mean, Toronto is winning right now. There’s Drake, The Weeknd, Partynextdoor, Majid Jordan, Jazz Cartier and Justin Bieber… well, he gets a free pass. Then there’s Roy Woods, Jimmy Prime, Jahkoy, Mo-G, Smoke Dawg and Safe. Toronto really is winning right now and it would be great to add DVSN to the list, if he is, in fact, from Toronto.

Now you’re probably wondering, why should I listen to DVSN? Well, just listen to the two songs, With Me and The Line.
