Today was the last day of the Pan Am Games. Even though people tried to petition to get Kanye West removed or replaced for the closing ceremony, he still went on and performed. He was having mic problems during his set and when it ended, he just threw the mic in the air. You can watch below.

Kanye didn't throw the mic because of the crowd. The crowd was actually pretty live at some points, all jumping in unison, hands up etc.

They cut Kanye's mic and muted the music at exactly 10pm. I'm pretty sure that was based on scheduling, they're serious about timing.
