Now, when I say stalker, I don’t mean the crazy part of the definition. Where you follow people or you do something like that. What do I mean by stalker?
When I say admit it, you’re a stalker, I mean how you use Twitter and Instagram and Facebook. Honestly, any social media platform. We all stalk peoples tweets, peoples Facebook pages and Instagram pages. It seems innocent, but we are stalkers. In this post, I will explain how we stalk on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
How can you be a stalker on Twitter? You go on someones twitter page who doesn’t follow you. Or, you don’t even follow this person. You read this persons tweets and read their favourites. You are stalking their life on Twitter. Even though, it’s not to the crazy definition of stalking, you’re still stalking.
Facebook stalking is pretty innocent when you think about. I mean, you go on someones Facebook page to see how they’re doing. It makes more sense on Facebook than Twitter, because this person is your “friend” on Facebook. On Twitter, you most likely read someones tweets that you don’t follow or the person doesn’t follow you. That would be innocent, but not really innocent. Facebook is pretty innocent stalking. Its kind of like, oh what are you saying now when you go on the persons Facebook page. Yet, it is still stalking. Stalking a Facebook page is still stalking.
Have you ever accidentally liked a picture on someones Instagram that was weeks old? If you have, you were clearly on some stalker wave. On Instagram, when you scroll through someones page from weeks ago, you know you’re on some stalker wave and you don’t want to accidentally like a picture because that will show the person you were snooping. Hey! it’s all innocent in nature, but it’s stalking. Just admit it.
and when you like that person picture form 55 weeks ago, you feel like the gif below
I know you’re probably feeling like this
But don’t worry, everybody stalks these days. We live on the internet and on social media platforms. Its common to do these things that I’ve said, but the cold truth is, it’s stalking. Why do you think people lock their accounts? Why do you think there are privacy settings? Admit it, you’re a social media stalker and you know what, everyone else is too. Well, the majority of people.
