Former Brazil captain and new Brazil Coach Dunga announces his call-ups for the friendlies this fall

Check out the post below

With Scolari being fired, Dunga was re-hired for the job. He was the coach for Brazil after the World Cup in 2006 and his spell ended at the World Cup in 2010. With a new coach and how Brazil were eliminated from the World Cup, this is some pretty big news for Brazilians and Brazil fans.

What I Don’t Agree With

In my Brazil Future XI post, which you can find in my sports section, I highlighted a few players. I would have liked Roberto Firmino to get called up instead of Diego Tardelli. Nothing against him, but Firmino would have been my selection.

What I Agree With

In my Brazil Future XI post, I had many players who were called up today. Coutinho, Cabral, David Luiz, Willian, Oscar and Neymar. So, I’m happy they were all included.

People who were excluded

Dani Alves, Marcelo, Lucas, Ganso, Fred (Retired), Jo, Bernard, Dante and Henrique. I’m probably missing a few, but comment below on who i’m missing.

Dunga’s Thoughts

Dunga: “Neymar is the reference of Brazilian football and world football. His quality is exceptional, no discussion about that.” Via @BrazilStats

Dunga: “Neymar has to be our reference, not just for the team but also for the young players. We will use his qualities in the best way.” Via @BrazilStats

Dunga  brought in creative players and will be playing the False 9 because he didn’t call up a single Striker. The players have been called, now we wait to see them in action this fall.
